Tip for in the kitchen.

Being a mom of two and managing living on a farm can be a lot! I've found a few tricks to make it easier.

I’ve discovered some hacks to make it more manageable. Instead of organizing my kitchen like most people might, I set it up based on how my family actually uses it. For instance, I keep my butter knives in the breakfast area rather than with the other utensils since that’s where we reach for them most often.

A lot of us were taught that a "good" home always looks finished.

The counters should be clear.
The laundry should be put away.
The toys should be picked up.
The projects should be completed.

But real life doesn't work that way.

A functioning home isn't one where every task is done. It's one that supports the people living in it. Even when there are dishes in the sink, laundry waiting to be folded, or toys on the floor because your kids are actually enjoying the space.

If your home helps your family eat, rest, connect, and get out the door in the morning, it's already doing its job.

Could it be more functional? Absolutely. That's what I help moms with.

But don't confuse "unfinished" with "failing."
